Artist's Comments   This is an entry for  's contest. I absolutely adore the theme of the contest, 'FRIENDSHIP'. Honestly I wasn't sure this kind of friendship (animalxhuman) was appropriate for the contest, but I decided to be true to my opinion of friendship. To me friendship is a very deep and important bond you share with another soul. I chose friendship between a dog and a human because in my opinion it symbolizes true, unselfish, pure friendship. I also treasure friendship between humans. I have many very good friends especially here, on Deviant, but this time I wanted to express my feelings for our friends, the animals, who always love us unconditionally. I'm sure most of you had or have a pet you absolutely adore. You know they would never betray you or think badly of you. They just purely love you and want to be with you. As for the human/animal friendship idea, I applaud you. It's so true that whenever you need someone to comfort you or someone to just sit with, your dog/other pet will be there for you. They truly are man's best friends.

Okay, I give. ^^' Anyway, this is an incredible piece sweetie. I love the detail in the background and how the clouds are drawn as well.
Both the puppy and the little girl look adorable, and I really like the shading on the girl's hair.
